The Order to Cash (O2C) team ensures that all revenue across SumUp is properly booked, invoiced, and collected. We play a pivotal role in supporting new launches like Field Sales rollout, Freemium with Bank Plus, POS Plus, and Payments Plus, ensuring that every transaction is processed accurately and efficiently.

As part of this collaborative and highly detail-oriented team, you’ll work closely with Business Development Managers, Sales, and Enterprise teams to ensure revenue recognition, payment alignment, and accurate reporting.

• Oversee the end-to-end order processing cycle — reviewing and approving sales orders, coordinating timely invoicing, and executing dunning procedures for overdue payments.

• Act as a key contact for Enterprise and Field Sales billing, ensuring alignment and consistency across teams.

• Prepare aging analysis and support the calculation of bad debt allowances and impairment for retail and partnership transactions.

• Approve refunds and validate corrections for reverse charge invoices.

• Ensure accuracy of Sidekick invoices and maintain robust documentation.

• Collaborate with the ERP team on automation and process improvement projects to enhance scalability and efficiency.

• Have experience in accounting, particularly in managing and posting financial records with accuracy.

• Can research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues.

• Have solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

• Are comfortable working in Excel and enjoy leveraging data to ensure accuracy.

• Are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes.

• Bring a positive attitude, curiosity, and a drive to continuously improve.

Nice to have:

• Advanced Excel knowledge (macros, PowerQuery).

• Understanding of European VAT mechanisms.

• Experience working with SAP or ERP systems.

• Exposure to process improvement initiatives.
