What you’ll do

Doctolib is looking for an Accounting Specialist based in Milan, Italy, to join its Finance team and work in close collaboration with the Accounting Shared Services Center team based in France.

You will report to the Local Finance Manager, based in Milan.

Your main mission will be to support the Local Finance Manager in daily operations. He will be in charge of quality control financial operations for Doctolib in Italy. This will include: control on the Italian books in  IFRS, review of account documentation prepared by central teams, and lead all local Gaap activities. You will also support operating activities such as Accounts Payables and Account Receivables, making sure for correct allocation of postings and partially taking over some postings. You will Interact with Account Payable, Account Receivable, General Ledger and Treasury teams in France. You will be the key interface between the local teams and the Group's finance department in France.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1/ Closing:

  • Account reconciliations
  • Review of books in IFRS

2/ General Ledger Accounting:

  • Centralise all non-recurring elements to be taken into account for monthly reporting and address them to the central GL Team for processing

3/ Tax entries and reporting:

  • Prepare local tax filings under supervision of local finance manager
  • Check of VAT registers, detecting possible errors on books recordings

4/ Accounts Payables:

  • Relay Central AP department by collecting invoices, unblocking purchase documents and liaise with local internal stakeholders.
  • You will partially take part in Accounts Payables operations
  • Supplier invoices registration when requested 

5/ Accounts receivables:

  • You will centralize information related to billing non recurring elements and liaise with the central billing department in order to ensure their smooth and correct treatment

6/ Audit

  •  You will be managing requests coming from Auditors related to documentation, clarifications and correctness of the books

  • You have at least 2-5 years experience in Finance or General Ledger Accounting, with ideally a track record in audit. 
  • You like to be hands-on and to learn. You are service-oriented and you like team work.
  • You have good knowledge in Italian accounting and tax standards. 
  • You speak English and Italian fluently
  • You want to evolve in a dynamic environment with functions and processes to structure
