YOUR MISSION

We’re looking for someone to join our Accounting team, you’ll be working with and alongside talented and passionate people around the world. We are looking for a highly accountable, flexible individual, who is technically excellent, works hard, can nurture productive working relationships, and operate with a considerable degree of autonomy.

THE JOURNEY

Perform a variety of accounting activities including but not limited to:

• Reconciliation of GL account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end closing procedures
• Active participation in Month-end closing process and reporting to HQ in Barcelona and Berlin
• Preparation of VAT returns together with Tax consultants
• Work with primary accounting documents
• Ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded in accordance with local GAAP
• Inter-company accounts reconciliation and confirmation process
• Reconciliation between Trial Balance and Management Reporting     
• Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Participation in establishing new accounting processes and streamlining existing processes
• Assisting the Finance Manager and HQ with developing and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance 
• 2+ years accounting experience in a similar position
• Thorough knowledge of the International Accounting Standards (IAS)
• Experience with accounting systems (NAVision and Pantheon are strong advantage)
• Advanced MS Excel Skills (pivot tables, sumifs, vlookup, Charts etc) & Google Workspace
• Knowledge of the English and local language (advanced)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• High levels of professionalism, initiative, and energy
• An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
