Role: Dcomm Account Manager/Senior Content Manager (FTC - 7 months)

About the role:

OLIVER are looking for a Dcomm Account Manager/Senior Content Manager who wants to be part of a pioneering in-house global account. With our globally renowned client, famous for its world class alcoholic beverages, we are building the best in-house agency in the world. It will be a model that integrates award winning creativity and smart tech solutions to produce effective creative work, at scale. The Dcomm Account Manager/Senior Content Manager will be responsible strategic content planning, managing projects, and responsible for the content publishing process for a variety of content types across several channels.You will be working closely with a team composed of a copywriter and designers. You will be comfortable working in close partnership and collaboration with the client. This role will need to be onsite with the client in their stunning central London office. At least three days a week to build influential relationships, although you will be flexible and go onsite when required. You will be working in a global team, based in different regions and should be comfortable managing time zones and enjoy working with different cultures. You will report into the xx, who will work closely with you on your career development.

What you will be doing:

Content Management:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end content management process including case raising, set-up, upload, edit, content amends and maintenance on various platforms
  • Line Management of the content management and monitoring their performance
  • In collaboration with the client's Content lead & with guidance on a test & learn roadmap (MLA), assisting on pulling data and presentations together including keeping track of before & afters

Client services:

  • Ensuring that the client experience is as positive as possible. Encouraging a positive, proactive solution first attitude, with clear communication in person, supported by documentation in email.
  • Where clients experience a negative service or we do not come across in the best light, escalate this to the Account Director to ensure that it does not happen again.
  • Be the brand guardian by safeguarding the brand within the team and ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Actively seek opportunities that help the client meet their goals and growth. Not being afraid to challenge the client in a constructive manner and propose value-added solutions that come from the OLIVER teams. This includes advising clients on how to spend their budget smartly.
  • Skilfully negotiate win-win solutions on behalf of team members when necessary.
  • Lead meetings. Prepare meeting agendas, meeting rooms and contact reports. Owning the follow up of actions.
  • In collaboration with Client/Content lead support with on a test & learn roadmap (MLA), assisting on pulling data and presentations together including keeping track of before & afters
Workflow management:
  • Full ownership & accountability of the Content Planner (nexus), that serves as the client’s base for the client’s strategic objectives
    • Manage the Content Planner for content execution including scoping, assignment of tasks within 24 hrs of creation, collation of necessary information and communication with wider team
    • Leading the workload allocation across content team in conjunction with project manager
  • Develop Internal & external briefings to deliver projects, and be able to answer queries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and leading the team to ensure content management processes are being adhered to, all deadlines are being met
  • Responsible for best-in-class & error-free content publishing on all content publishing platforms and any issues to be raised to client immediately.
  • Ability to build a consistent workload pipeline across weeks and still hit or exceed deadlines by looking ahead
  • Accountable for the timely delivery of projects, working with the project manager.
  • Lead weekly client status meetings to discuss upcoming project requirements, status on live projects (with the support of the project manager) and opportunities.
  • Communication and collaboration with creative and strategy team to ensure all work we deliver is on brief and on brand & ability to answer queries in a timely manner. Use your intimate knowledge of the client to elevate the work.
  • Collaborating with the designer & copywriter to ensure the content is rich in terms of text and visual representation and within best-in-class guidelines

Commercial Management:

  • Support the Account Director in reporting the commercial position of your accounts on a weekly basis
  • Manage the client’s Flex budget, and work with the client and Account Director & Project Manager to forecast this into respective finance reporting.

Team Management and Development:

  • Encourage a collaborative, motivated and inclusive team environment whilst keeping client centricity at the core of the team culture and values.
  • Contribute to the Content Manager’s development by providing constructive feedback.
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Broadbank, Vendor Central, and PIM platforms, have exceptional leadership skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in client servicing and content management in relevant roles.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple clients and projects.
  • Experience working on demanding global brands. The ideal candidate will have experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Hands on experience of working on Content Management Systems & SEO (3+ years)
  • Experience managing content projects including scoping, briefing, asset review, proposal creation, creative team alignment
  • Experience developing and implementing effective content strategies
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication / writing / editing skills
  • Self-starter and comfortable with reaching out to the wider business without being prompted
  • Preference for working in a face paced collaborative environment
  • The ability to work well under pressure and manage workloads and multiple projects effectively with a high level of detail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Planner
