Accounting Administrator/ Sachbearbeiterin Buchhaltung (d/f/m)
THE TEAM
You will become part of our small but dynamic Operations Team of two, which is dedicated to managing and optimizing operational tasks to ensure the seamless execution of daily activities, all while aligning with the organizations goals and strategic objectives.RESPONSIBILITIESAs a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording, processing, and monitoring of financial transactions, with a focus on compliance, timeliness, and accuracy, to provide a sound financial basis for strategic decision-making.
Your tasks will include:
Finance accounting:
- Recording and posting of all business transactions (e.g. accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank)
- Monitoring and reconciliation of accounts, including general and subsidiary ledgers
Invoice verification and payment processing:
- Checking and posting of incoming invoices
- Processing of payment transactions (national and international)
Monthly and annual financial statements:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS
- Preparation of accounting documents and accruals and deferrals
Reporting:
- Support in the preparation of financial reports and analyses
- Provision of data and information for internal and external audits
Processes and systems:
- Optimisation of accounting processes and systems
- Participation in the introduction and further development of the ERP software
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed commercial training or relevant internship experience in financial accounting
- 1–2 years of professional experience preferred, but not required
- Basic understanding of the German Commercial Code (HGB); knowledge of IFRS is a plus
- Confident handling of accounting software (e.g., SAP FI/CO) and MS Office, especially Excel
- Proficiency in both German and English is required for effective communication with clients and team members. (This requirement is directly related to the responsibilities of the role).
