About the jobThis position is needed to support Accounts Payable Global Delivery. This person will be responsible for auditing the accounting of invoices and Purchase Orders, Travel & Expense Accounting Audit, handling queries & Month End Closing. Ability to adhere to agreed SLA’s, analyze invoice issues and interpret problems & probable solutions is a prerequisite of this role. This position is based out of our Bangalore, India office and will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:
- Drive continuous improvement
- Meet agreed Service Level Agreement
- AP SME: Master purchase orders, invoices, T&E, credit cards, resolve issues, and deliver insightful reports.
- Ensure effective and timely response to stakeholder enquiries.
- Highlight deviation and suggest process improvement.
- Perform month-end activities related to Accounts Payable and ensure timely completion.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or commerce.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a finance function preferably at a fast-growing Technology company. Experience in a Shared Service Center environment is a plus.
- Proven global Procure to Pay expertise, including successful implementation of new programs and processes. Strong analytical mindset with a penchant for data-driven insights and familiarity with cutting-edge AP/P2P tools (ERPs, Workflows, Invoice Exchange/OCR, Settlement Platforms).
- In-depth experience across the procurement cycle, encompassing purchase requisition verification, PO creation, and issue resolution.
- Extensive experience in validating and processing diverse invoice types (PO and non-PO), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Developed and implemented efficient processes for vendor creation and maintenance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and positive vendor relationships.
- Skilled in managing employee travel and expense reimbursement, ensuring policy compliance and timely processing.
- Streamlined credit card processes through efficient statement review, processing, and reconciliation, minimizing errors and improving financial controls.
- Successfully managed accruals, prepaid invoices, and reclassifications, ensuring financial compliance and adherence to accounting standards.
- Strong expertise in invoice review and payment processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments.
- Proficient in generating and analyzing P2P reports such as aging, unapproved payments, open invoices, and open POs, leveraging insights to optimize cash flow and ensure process efficiency.
- Solid organizational skills, time management and detail oriented. Able to work effectively within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Stellar customer service skills and strong verbal and written communication skills. Support the team as the process SME to develop the staff process knowledge and provide guidance when working through complex cases.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of P2 in Oracle ERP Cloud/Fusion preferred good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Suite required.
- Drive continuous improvement by supporting management initiatives, system enhancements, new system implementations, and developing and documenting new processes.

- Experience in Oracle Fusion / SAP / JDE

Location
This role will be based in our Bangalore office. Approximately 1% travel is anticipated.
