Accounting Manager

Qualtrics is looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our Finance team. We are a goal-oriented team that works hard and enjoys the incredible trajectory that Qualtrics provides. This is a job for a well-spoken, hard-working and self-starting accountant with excellent social skills. Expectations for Success

  • Own month, quarter and annual accounting close processes
  • Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger accounts and account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
  • Actively participate in internal and external reporting functions (i.e. generate core financial reports and footnotes)
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors
  • Prepare and review schedules and financial statements for quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and best practices
  • Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes
  • Research accounting technical accounting topics and perform analysis on how it affects the Company
  • Assist with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic

  • Master’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4+ years of accounting experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 6+ years of accounting experience
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment

Preferred

  • CPA certification
  • Work experience in the software or services industry
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Able to work within a team environment effectively, as well as function independently
  • Great oral and written communication skills to interact with upper levels of management
  • Experience with NetSuite
