Position Overview

The candidate will support several functions in the Accounts Payable and Treasury Department. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision to carry out the responsibilities. The candidate should be comfortable collaborating with vendors, business partners, banks, merchants, and the accounting team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for onboarding new vendors, updating existing vendor data and related process documentation
  • Assist for vendor statement reconciliations and communicating with vendors and business partners in a professional and timely manner
  • Responsible for AP vendor master data
  • Assist in resolving matters associated with processing and approval of invoices
  • Assist in managing the accounts payable email inbox and routing of invoices in Medius (invoice automation software)
  • Process vendor payments including Wires, ACH, and Checks
  • Cross functional training as back up support for the Accounts Payable Coordinator
  • Responsible in preparing the daily cash position
  • Facilitate intercompany funds transfers and manual/portal payments
  • Reconciling and confirming all direct debits and other payments on bank statements are vouched in AP subledger
  • Responsible for all administrative functions relative to Company's credit card policy, P-Card, bank accounts, paypal, Concur, Medius Flow etc inclusive of the following:
  • Responsible for overall administration of above accounts, i.e. new account set up - stores, personnel new hires / terms, etc.
  • Imaging and record retention of Accounts Payable and Treasury documents
  • Medius Flow administration - Delegation of authority matrix in Medius Flow for new hires, terms
  • Issuance and termination of Amex cards - collaborate with HR
  • Maintaining master list of all bank accounts, Amex holders, P Card holders, inclusive of list of administrators, and user roles with status
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Treasury ad hoc projects including audit requests and other special projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
  • 2+ years of related experience in AP and Treasury
  • Knowledge of general accounting concepts
  • Good communications, organization and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Knowledge of Excel, MS Word, and general computer skills are needed
  • Knowledge of Medius (invoice automation software) a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (AX) and/or D365 a plus

Annual Salary Pay Range$70,000—$75,000 USD
