The Team & Role

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join and grow with us. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and an effective communicator and will be responsible for accuracy and timeliness of invoice and expense report processing with strong working knowledge of AP and Expense operations. The candidate will coordinate on a daily basis with the GL Accounting Manager and AP Manager and with the team in the US/UK.

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely while occasionally getting together with your team in Chennai  for office visits, events, or offsites. Of course, you’re welcome to come into the office more often if you’re nearby. 

What you’ll do

  • Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable activities, including processing invoices, expense reports and vendorpayments
  • Prepare and maintain complete accounts payable records and reports to ensure proper documentation andaudit trail for all transactions and activities
  • Assist in month/quarter-end closing activities, including preparing monthly A/P accruals, accountreconciliations and necessary GL reclasses.
  • Respond to vendor or employee inquiries to resolve payment processing issues, discrepancies, or any otherrelated transitions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with FP&A and other cross-functional departments to ensure completeness of expense accruals
  • Assist with quarterly cash forecasts.
  • Assist in SOX compliance and quarter/year-end audit requests.
  • Assist with Ad-hoc projects as needed.

Shift Timing: 3 pm to 12 am Salary: 5 lakhs per annum
