AD Product Manager - Payment Innovation

From enabling new payment capabilities to optimize transaction success and unlocking new financial offerings, our team ensures Chewy is at the forefront of customer-first commerce.We are seeking an Associate Director Product Manager - Payment Innovation to join our team in Seattle, WA, Boston, MA, or Plantation, FL offices and play a pivotal role in the customer payments space. This role will own strategy, development, and execution of a new client facing financial experience that expands how Chewy shows up in moments that matter to pet parents. Your effort from early definition through go-to-market, while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, external suppliers, and Chewy leadership are vital to forward thinking approach moving forward. You will report into the Director of Payments, Fraud, and Gift Cards.
What You’ll Do:
- Define and implement a product roadmap for a new customer-facing financial offering, passionate about driving dedication, trust, and long-term engagement.
- Deliver end-to-end product lifecycle from early concept development to partner selection, systems integration, servicing design, and launch.
- Translate customer needs and business strategy into clear product requirements and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, marketing, analytics, and external partners to bring the product to life.
- Develop and implement key performance metrics to monitor product health, customer adoption, and engagement outcomes.
- Serve as the connective tissue across internal and external Team Members, ensuring alignment and accountability at every stage.
- Deliver product documentation, insights, and updates to senior leadership on roadmap, resourcing, risks, and achievements.
What You’ll Need:
- 7+ years of experience in product management, with 4+ years in payments, FinTech, Loyalty, or other experiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, finance, or equivalent experience.
- Experience working on or with credit card programs is a plus - especially roles involving partners, card networks, or servicing design.
- Ability to lead product development involving systems and integrations.
- Strong and thinking skills with the ability to develop cases, evaluate tradeoffs, and ambiguity into action.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience making pitches to Team Members.
- Tight-knit collaboration and team member management abilities.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments with a sense of ownership.
- A passion for building products that build both and value.
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
- Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.
The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Exempt salary team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
Base Salary Range$166,000—$265,500 USDChewy is an equal opportunity employer.
