The Adoption Architect will drive adoption performance and field effectiveness across Databricks. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to lay out the requirements to execute on product priorities. They will also partner with the Product Program Manager to set the requirements and vision for scalable Plays that can be amplified across the entire Field. The Adoption Architect will also be the primary advisor to product management to collect signals from the field through blockers. They will also triage product escalations and represent the field perspective on strategic decisions through PRISM. The Adoption Architect will also work with BU leaders to create a strategy to hit their targets, and create a community of embedded product leads (EPLs) in each BU+1 to drive behavior and accountability at the ground level.

The impact you will have:

  • Create the strategy and definition of scalable, repeatable Product Programs.
  • Work with Program Director to establish global plays (deliverables, resources, tracking, program management) that enable business units to execute plays and drive product line adoption.
  • Partner with BU leaders and EPLs to drive adoption of these programs and achieve meaningful $DBUs. .
  • Credibly partner with the PM to align roadmaps with play objectives and markets.
  • Prioritize customer blockers to maximize field impact of product development.

What we look for:

  • 5+ years of experience in the data analytics space to understand and prioritize product capabilities
  • Proven trusted advisor to technical executives that drive strategic data decisions.
  • Operationally minded and ability to design at a system level
  • Strong execution and ability to drive to outcomes in the face of ambiguity
  • Strong leadership skills - ability to coordinate with various roles across GTM and R&D that contribute toward product line adoption.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Local Pay Range$189,800—$335,800 USD
