(Advertising) Audience Strategy Lead (m/f/x)
As the (Advertising) Audience Strategy Lead, you will be part of the Global Retail Media Team based at our Amsterdam office, responsible for providing strategic guidance in audience data monetization from the ground up, specifically focusing on areas such as audience strategy, insights, segmentation, and data platforms. Additionally, you will oversee the development of reports and dashboards designed to deliver insightful performance tracking both internally and externally. This role involves close collaboration with local markets (ranging from the US to Australia) and cross-departmental teams, such as X-Channel and Marketing Analytics, to develop new data monetization propositions, define local and global segmentation possibilities for both physical and digital retail media solutions, and enhance our audience insights and reporting capabilities to strengthen our position as a data-driven retail media partner for our advertisers.

What you’ll do- Develop and execute comprehensive audience monetization strategies aligned with HelloFresh’s Global Retail Media objectives.
- Build our offsite and onsite data monetization proposition;
- Analyze audience segments using data platforms to identify insights and opportunities for targeted marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Paid Marketing, Product & Tech (P&T), and Legal to leverage first-party (1P) data for on- and offsite retail media campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with global and local privacy regulations, including GDPR and CCPA, in all audience targeting and data usage practices.
- Develop reports and dashboards in alignment with Marketing Analytics (MA) to track and report on business planning and campaign performance, inclusive of providing data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends within your scope of work to shape best practices and drive innovation within the team.

- A project leader capable of effectively managing a variety of projects from initial concept and planning to execution and delivery, including setting project goals, establishing timelines, managing resources, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- A clear communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A collaborative team player, able to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- 6+ years of experience in unlocking advertising data: data monetization, data targeting strategies, audience insights, audience segmentation, or a related field within advertising and/or marketing.
- 3+ years of senior-level experience in building, developing and commercializing high-performing Audience strategies within leading e-commerce brands.
- Extensive knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, with experience ensuring compliance within marketing initiatives.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), DMP, CDP, DCR, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in developing reports and dashboards for Advertisers.
- A strong Agency and AdTech network within the Advertising Data space.
- Experience in eCommerce, Digital Advertising, Retail Media and/or subscription business models.
- Extensive knowledge of the evolving digital advertising landscape, including data/privacy regulations, data technology advancements, and AdTech platform changes and optimization tactics.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field, with a strong academic record.
