Advertising Program Manager - Display
This is a hybrid position located in Boston.
Who We Are: The Supplier Advertising team at Wayfair provides solutions for Wayfair’s 10,000+ suppliers to advertise their brands and products. These offerings include on-site solutions such as sponsored product listings and display ads, as well as off-site offerings such as email placements and Meta targeting. We work on both improving our products to maximize their inherent value, as well as advising suppliers on how best to leverage them to grow their businesses on Wayfair. Not only are we generating millions in extra revenue for suppliers and solidifying Wayfair as a preferred partner, but we’ve built a significant business that’s one of the highest growth areas in the company.
We are looking for a Display Ads Operations Manager to join the Program & Operations team that sits within the overall Supplier Advertising Team. The Program and Operations team covers a wide array of responsibilities, including but not limited to owning sales enablement and growth strategies for our sales team, our Managed Sponsored Products and Managed Display programs, hitting revenue targets, and partnering with our Product & Engineering teams on new product development and enhancements. Our work is fast paced, high-impact, and heavily relied upon by our suppliers and revenue-bearing teams. This role focuses specifically on our Display product offering. It provides significant exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to work with a variety of cross-functional partners including Sales, Product Management, Commercial Analytics, and third-parties.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage end-to-end execution strategy of digital advertising campaigns, including campaign setup, trafficking, performance reporting, and optimization
- Own display campaign optimization strategies & service level improvements with the goal of maximize ad performance onsite & offsite, boost supplier satisfaction with our Display product offering, and streamline operational processes
- Own developing an end-to-end operational strategy for our new managed Display product offering that is launching soon
- Partner closely with our Managed Sales, Product, Analytics, and creative teams to develop and evangelize new program initiatives
- Responsible for vendor management and third party relationships with Ad Tech partners; oversee the implementation and integration of ad-serving technologies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in ad delivery
- Learn and grow in the dynamic industry of digital advertising & retail media, specifically Display advertising, immersing self in industry news in order to stay abreast of industry trends, ad tech advancements, and platform updates to ensure our advertising strategies remain innovative and competitive
- Own campaigns for top strategic accounts and oversee a team of Display Ops Account Managers who execute 130+ accounts annually
- Own and track against key performance metrics to show the impact of your work
What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, preferably in an agency or retail media environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional team working skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand how various parts of the business interact; can identify and approach problems from a customer perspective
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style based on the audience
- You are an entrepreneur in the way you work, self-starting, and ready to solve problems that do not have a clear cut solution
