The TeamThe Delivery, Enablement, and Operations team seeks to ensure that in the CIC Product Unit it’s easy to understand what we’re building and why, we can change gears quickly when we learn new things, and we all pull together in the same direction.

The Business Agility Team serves this vision by coaching Agile practices and an Agile mindset, enabling product delivery teams to be engaged, adaptable, and resilient.

The Agile Coach is responsible for ensuring healthy Agile practices across a group of five delivery teams. They are knowledgeable about standard Agile frameworks and confident in coaching teams to adapt practices to their specific needs while maintaining connection to organizational standards and expected outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Embedded, day-to-day coaching of Agile practices for a group of approximately five delivery teams. Facilitate key team ceremonies, and pursue team delivery efficiency, health and effectiveness.
  • Intentionally develop Agile expertise in assigned teams and their leaders. Empower teams to own their ways of working and advocate for an Agile mindset and philosophy.
  • Build strong relationships, serving as a trusted Agile expert in pursuit of building healthy, effective teams.
  • Establish, maintain and use team metrics to understand effectiveness and provide related insights to teams and their leaders.
  • Ensure that team ways of working are aligned with standards and outcomes expected of all teams in the product unit.
  • Work in collaboration with the Business Agility Team to continuously improve established practice standards and guidance for the product unit.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience as an Agile practitioner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Expert in both Scrum and Kanban frameworks
  • Ability to facilitate team activities and clearly communicate in a team setting
  • Ability to interpret flow metrics and apply insights
  • Experience with remote collaboration techniques

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$102,000—$154,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $114,000—$172,000 USD
