The Accounting team is seeking an Analyst for the Accounts Payable team who will be an integral part of professionalizing our global Procure to Pay processes. Given the nature of our globally distributed team, this role will be based in India, primarily in Bangalore. 

What You Will Be Doing:

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible to handle global invoice processing and email queries, end-to-end payment process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional departments to optimize payment processes and drive continuous improvement.

In addition, you will:
  • Process vendor invoices and payment requests promptly and accurately in ERP system
  • Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and payment amounts before processing payments. Resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices or payment requests.
  • Coordinate with GL teams for posting journals, track refunds, monitor aging and support on close process deliverables.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for payments from appropriate departments or personnel in accordance with company policies and delegated authority levels.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors regarding payment status, invoice discrepancies, and other payment-related matters. Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors to facilitate smooth payment processing.
  • Find opportunities to streamline payment processes, improve efficiency, and enhance controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and standard methodologies.
What You Bring Along:

An eye for detail when it comes to accuracy within our systems and an ability to plan and organize to ensure we're supporting our partners fairly and reimbursing employees quickly. Prior experience working in NetSuite is a plus. Candidate is required to work from 2pm to 11pm IST time to support the global process.

You have experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment and you are no stranger to building and optimizing the processes vital to keep us growing without stumbling. In fact, you're excited to share some of the significant improvements you've made in past situations with us!

If that's you, hopefully you also have:
  • Graduation in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of AP experience, preferably with global public companies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Prior experience in Shared Service Center environment is a plus.
  • Excellent English communication both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
