Lincoln International is seeking Analysts to join and help build our Private Funds Advisory team.  The Analyst position at Lincoln International provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding, yet supportive, team-oriented environment. Duties & Responsibilities

The Analyst with the private funds advisory team works closely with the firm’s Managing Directors in building relationships with and advising sponsors, and driving capital raising activities for single asset vehicles, continuation funds, co-investment vehicles and private equity funds.  Successful candidates will have strong quantitative and interpersonal abilities, a desire to develop their professional and personal skills, and are highly motivated by being part of team building a leading practice in the market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Targeting general partners and identifying capital raising and restructuring opportunities
  • Underwriting opportunities through financial analyses and financial modeling
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with limited partners
  • Performing general partner, industry and market research and due diligence
  • Preparing pitch materials, client deliverables and management presentations
  • Participating in new business meetings
  • Working side-by-side with senior bankers on the team and across the firm
  • Leading and implementing initiatives focused on growing the firm’s franchise value

Qualifications

The Analyst position at Lincoln International is extremely challenging, offers an excellent learning experience and provides a solid foundation upon which an individual can build a future business career. Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, primary or secondary fundraising, or private investment experience
  • A critical thinker who can quickly evaluate and analyze companies and financial information
  • An assertive, motivated self-starter with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, as well as strong writing and communication skills
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Team-first approach
