  • Development: You craft sleek, high-performing Android apps using Kotlin/Java with a focus on fitness and wellness features
  • Collaboration: You work closely with product and design teams to bring innovative ideas to life from concept to launch
  • Clean Code: You write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that both users and fellow engineers will appreciate
  • Trends: You stay updated with the latest Android trends and share your insights with the team
  • Feedback and Learning: You participate in code reviews and give and receive feedback to improve as a team and thus to contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing 
  • API Definition: You collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs

Your fitness level

  • Experience: You have at least 3 years of experience developing highly successful apps in commercial environments
  • Tech Enthusiastic: You are passionate about the latest trends in software engineering and enjoy using methods like test-driven development, continuous delivery, and test automation
  • APIs & Libraries: You are familiar with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries, which are part of your daily toolkit
  • Kotlin & Android: You are enthusiastic about Google technologies and experienced with Kotlin and the Android ecosystem (Android Studio, Android SDK, and Git). Contributions to open-source projects are a plus!
  • Architecture Patterns: You are familiar with common architectural patterns like MVC, MVP, MVVM, and MVI
  • Curiosity: You are open-minded, eager to learn, and not afraid to step beyond your tech expertise
  • Team Player: You thrive in a team environment and collaborate easily with others

Your training goal for your first 6 months

  • Ownership: You take ownership of the work you do, you can understand its architecture and deliver on product requirements and features as well as improve testability and functionality
  • EGYM Ecosystem Familiarization: You familiarize yourself with the EGYM ecosystem and the role of the different teams in the software engineering department
  • Respected Team Member: You become a known and well-respected member of the Machine Infrastructure domain and the engineering department
