THE ROLE 

Key responsibilities 

We are seeking a dynamic an experienced Architect and Test Practice Lead to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our business by leveraging expertise in Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft solutions, exceptional leadership abilities, and a proven track record in business development. 

 

Specific duties 

  • Lead and Develop the Practice: Oversee the solution architecture practice, ensuring that it aligns with company goals and grows in line with market demands. 
  • Technical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge and insights on Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Dynamics 365, and Office 365, to guide the development of innovative solutions. 
  • Business Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strong client relationships, and craft strategies to expand our market presence. 
  • Project Oversight: Project oversight for technical assurance and supporting lead architects in the technical delivery objectives. 
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of skilled architects, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence. 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to understand requirements, solve challenges, and deliver outstanding solutions. 
  • Ensure that propositions are technically sound, deliverable, competitive and representative of market leadership in the application of technology to addressing business issues 
  • Own the practice’s sales propositions ensuring that they are kept current and any material changes are communicated to the relevant teams

ABOUT YOU 

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results while embracing change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role. 

 

The Ideal Candidate 

Knowledge 

  • Solid experience in M365 transformation projects 
  • In depth knowledge of the Microsoft and partner solution stack as it relates to end-user computing and Mobile computing. 
  • Local government or Healthcare experience an advantage. 

 

Skills 

  • Strong technical solutions architect, including time supporting sales and managing technical staff.  
  • Proven ability to describe technical requirements in business terms. 
  • Strong presentation, executive client management and business development skills 

 

 Qualities 

  •  Motivated by challenges & able to work in both a dynamic & results orientated way. 
  • Mature, structured approach to dealing with difficult situation. 
  • Highly developed attention to detail 
  • Commercial focus 
  • To be a champion for L&D both in technical and soft skills 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in solution architecture, with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft technologies. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 
  • Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Dynamics 365 certifications, and others are highly desirable. 
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and drive results. 
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business development principles and a knack for identifying growth opportunities. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
