About the roleWe’re looking for a hardworking, driven individual with superb energy, passion and initiative for new business acquisition. The Associate Account Executives will focus on planning and executing on a sales strategy within MongoDB’s most strategic accounts cohesively with the Strategic Account Director and other internal departments, resulting in revenue growth. Our Inside Sales organization offers an incredible opportunity to grow into an Enterprise Account Executive within 12 to 24 months.

What you will be doing- Proactively, identify, qualify and build a sales pipeline within MongoDB’s most Strategic Accounts
- Work with the Strategic Account Director to develop prospecting campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified opportunity and close
- Strategically prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, & technical end users
- Build strong and effective relationships, resulting in growth opportunities
- Work closely with the enterprise ecosystem Solution Architects, Marketing, Partners, CSM, Professional Services to maximize customer value
- Invest in your self-development, focusing on the skills and attributes that will make you successful in your core role and set you up for future success
- 2 to 3 years B2B sales experience including time spent in a closing role, strong preference for software sales
- A proven track record of overachievement through generating your own pipeline and hitting sales targets.
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
- Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious teammate. Possess a strong desire to be successful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- Passionate about growing your career in the largest and fastest growing market in software (database) and developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of MongoDB products
- Familiarity with database, SaaS, cloud, and open source technology a plus

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
