What is the key purpose of an Associate Advertising Account Manager?
As an Associate Advertising Account Manager on the Growth Advertiser AM team, your primary focus will be on existing growth Brands, Direct to Consumer (DTC), Agencies, and Affiliates. You will play a crucial role in supporting Team Leads and Account Managers by managing critical tasks, providing in-depth campaign analysis, optimization recommendations, and delivering data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong analytical skills, and can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution—all without direct client interaction. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about content, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in an exciting, growing company.
What skills and qualifications do I need?
For this role it is essential that you have:
- 1+ years of online advertising experience
- Proven success in a customer support role with the ability to build strong relationships
- A keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong analytical skills and a quick learning ability
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Outstanding communication abilities
- A true passion for online content and a solid understanding of web marketing
- The drive and adaptability to excel in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
It'd be great if you also have:
- Experience in a digital media agency
What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As an Associate Advertising Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the support team for Mid-Tier and Lower-Tier Accounts in the Growth Book of Business (BoB).
- Identifying existing business opportunities through strategic thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis.
- Regularly reporting strategic insights, recommendations, and new product capabilities to Account Managers, with a focus on renewal and new revenue opportunities.
- Analyzing the book of business to identify areas for growth and improvement.
- Proactively discovering and analyzing optimization and upsell opportunities, with a heavy focus on middle-tier and lower-tier accounts.
- Develop and share internal best practices for creative strategies, campaign setup, and optimizations to drive performance improvements.
- Provide internal teams with insights on Quarterly preparations, creative playbooks, and strategies based on market trends and previous successes.
- Offer guidance and training on using performance data tools, such as Pareto diagrams, and assist Team Leads in data analysis to improve campaign management processes.
- Support internal requests related to campaign setup, performance metrics, and ensuring smooth campaign delivery and execution.
- Maintain detailed documentation of account performance and share insights to help internal teams make informed decisions for future campaigns.
