As an Associate Brand Designer at Fastly, you'll work alongside a talented team of versatile designers to create exceptional assets that resonate with customers at every interaction. Your work will span a breadth of deliverables including digital, print and event assets to name a few. This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to think creatively, take creative direction and partner closely with cross-functional teams. What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to produce high quality, on-brand assets across campaigns, Fastly.com, sales presentations and more
• Support the creation and maintenance of design templates and asset libraries to streamline the brand design process
• Support the design team in all aspects of the creative process from initial concepts through final deliverables
• Own the updates and evolution of existing digital and print assets
• Stay up-to-date with design best practices, emerging trends, and innovative techniques to continuously improve the quality and impact of our brand visuals
• Actively participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement

What We're Looking For: 

• You have 3+ years of professional design experience and possess a solid understanding of design principles, typography, digital design and layout composition
• You have a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects that includes branding, digital design, and print
• You possess a strong dedication towards personal growth, constantly striving to expand and enhance your skill set 
• You have a passion for current trends in design, technology, culture, and visual arts
• You have experience adhering to brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency across different platforms
• You have excellent communication skills and the ability to present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders

We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these: 

• Figma experience: Working with component libraries, auto layout and style management 
• Motion graphics experience
• Video editing experience

Work Hours:

• This position will require you to be available during core business hours. 

Work Location(s) & Travel Requirements:

This position is a HYBRID position and open to the following office locations:

• San Francisco, CA - you will go into the Fastly SF office 2-3 times/week 

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home. 

This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $77,720 to $97,150. 

Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
