About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work with Purpose India’s senior leaders who are deeply involved in business operations, business strategy and business development for the region and beyond. You’ll be positioned to support and advance the effectiveness of these impact-oriented leaders in the heart of our work across philanthropies, non-profits, and values-aligned corporations. You’ll provide daily administrative support, be a key contact for internal and external stakeholders, and lean into special projects including internal cultural initiatives, external events, and client pitches and correspondence.
This role holds a number of key responsibilities, including leading all aspects of scheduling, event and travel coordination, research and presentation preparation, and proactive communication with external contacts and internal team members alike.

This role will be hybrid and Delhi-based with the expectation of up to three days in office for collaboration and support. This role is offered as a 1 year fixed term contract to start, with expectation of conversion to full time depending on performance. This role reports to the Head of Office, India.
Responsibilities
Time Management & Administrative Support:
- Manage the leaders’ calendars, including heavy and complex global scheduling, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis ensuring alignment with key priorities.
- Coordinate all India office domestic and international travel arrangements for projects and BD.
- Screen and prioritize incoming internal and external inquiries and requests as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, notes, and follow-up actions as required.
- Track expenses and submit monthly expense reports.
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, including booking venues, arranging catering, and preparing meeting materials.
- Assist in the coordination and tracking of various projects, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is communicated effectively.
- Support with content collation, specifically assisting with the preparation of presentation decks, internal reports, and project-based materials, including first draft review for errors and omissions
- Special projects as assigned by India leadership.
Business Development & Partnerships Support:
- Conduct research on potential clients, partners, and funding opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of business development materials, such as proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Coordinate and support in client meetings, conferences, and networking events [in-person as required].
- Maintaining India office mailing lists and supporting the Partnerships team in marketing and communication.
- Helping develop and identify content for the leadership to share across social media platforms - showcasing our work and strategy.
- Track business development activities within the executives network and manage Salesforce data.
- Maintain and update Purpose India BD excel and Salesforce including sending of leadshare to partnership global team
- Support on outreach for key events, conferences and meetings.
Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience working as an EA with a senior staff member C-suite executive or equivalent relevant experience.
- A keen eye for detail and meticulous organization skills
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Notion, G Suite, and other relevant software tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactiveness and proven problem-solving skills
- Respond well to new challenges and is able to adapt priorities accordingly
- Remains calm and focused in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality on sensitive company information and high level of integrity
- Comfortable working with all levels of clients, visitors, and employees, including senior executives
- Able to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
- Has strong emotional intelligence and is able to build relationships across the organization
- Experience with Google Suite, including Gmail and Google Calendar
- Proficient with iOS systems, G Suite and Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
