Creative Strategy (Pre-Sale)
We are seeking an Associate Creative Strategist to help bring our clients exciting new opportunities. You will be leading the brainstorming and storytelling for multiple, simultaneous accounts that span across several advertising categories. Based in digital but may also include extensions such as influencer-driven, editorial, custom video, experiential, to name a few.
What You'll Do:
- Lead internal brainstorms and craft insights-led client-facing materials in response to RFPs
- Generate deliverables for proactive requests both sales-driven and individually-spearheaded
- Develop marketing materials (proposals, presentations, 1-sheeters) with a focus on creative thinking and innovations, including, but not limited to custom/branded content, editorial alignment, social and digital media, video storytelling, data, influencer marketing, events, audio activations, and so much more
- Act as the owner on projects you lead, pulling together components from research, marketplace insights, and creative services into one cohesive response, including concept and pricing
- Work seamlessly and manage input and workflows with other Tripadvisor departments such as Sales, Planning, Account Management, and Creative Services teams
- Become a subject matter expert on all custom Wanderlab products
- Assist with any team housekeeping/organization asks to drive efficiencies, as needed
What you'll do:
- You are a creative thinker- coming up with fresh ideas, rooted in insights and designed to catch buzz and attention
- You are naturally curious - keeping a pulse on the larger advertising landscape and how we can potentially adapt those for internal campaigns
- You area multi-tasker, you operate and execute under accelerated timeframes ensuring that all projects are efficiently executed and delivered on-time and error-free
- You have the ability to understand the big picture – company goals and team goals – while operating at a very detailed level assessing project issues and identifying solutions to meet clients’ needs
- You are a collaborative team player - skilled at building trust and gaining stakeholders respect by working closely with others and remaining transparent.
- You are solutions-oriented with a can-do attitude - you choose to find a creative solution to any obstacle
- You know when to ask for advice- and you know when internal escalation is required
- You’re a fast learner and self-starter - you can pick up on new processes quickly. If you don’t know something, you’re resourceful in tracking down the right people or tools to understand and push forward
Skills & Experience:
- Must possess a BS/BA degree with a minimum of 2 - 4+ years of advertising, media agency or creative strategy experience
- The ideal candidate will have experience creating pitch decks for campaigns focused on digital content, experiential, influencer content, video content, live-streams, etc.
- Cross-functional experience, including interacting directly with design, sales, and editorial teams
- Must possess strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Good business judgment, as well as emotional and professional maturity required
- A proven track record of delivering initiatives from conception through completion on time, within budget and on scope; communicating scope creep
- Strong familiarity with Google Drive tools (Sheets, Presentations, Docs)

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $75,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We mayultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education,qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in thefuture.
