The Trailhead program is the start of your epic journey at Critical Mass. During your initial 12-weeks, you will embark on a custom-built learning journey to understand what we do, who we are, and how we make award-winning work with our clients. Our goal is to integrate you into the amazing work we do here at Critical Mass, and support you as part of the team to grow your career with us! 

Our Summer 2024 Trailhead Cohort will likely start June 17th, 2024. 

All applications are reviewed and interviewed on a rolling basis. 

As an Associate Developer, you have experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JS, which means you’re good to go when it comes to developing innovative features for responsive websites. You have a curious mindset that has led you, at times, from your front-end experience to experimenting with AI and Machine Learning. If you’re always looking to learn and grow in your role, then good news—you’ll get key mentorship from a Tech Lead and will gain experience working with departments like Creative and UX to create top-notch user experiences. Experience has taught you what works when it comes to choosing the best mix of cutting-edge tech. Most importantly, you are driven to hone your craft through a passion for technology.

You Will: 

  • Rapidly prototype with code using modern front-end frameworks and digital pattern libraries.
  • Deliver solutions balancing technical and business requirements.
  • Understand business and user requirements.
  • Maintain high coding standards and practices to exercise quality control on all aspects of web development. 
  • Problem-solve in all areas of web development.

You Have:

  • 0-3 years of demonstrated development experience with HTML, CSS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in Python and GenAI workstreams, with a focus on front-end development.
  • Proficiency with React, Vue.js, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Skilled in using package managers and automation tools such as NPM, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, and Vite
  • Demonstrated understanding of Responsive Web Design and Accessibility Principles
  • Exposure to web scraping frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL and exposure to ETL processes, particularly in Google and Amazon technologies.
  • Some exploration on vector databases, fine-tuning LLMs, RAG, and the use of tools such as HuggingFace, OpenAI, or similar.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and cross-office teams.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and solve cross-browser and cross-platform issues.

Nice-to-Have’s:

  • Exposure to DataBricks, AWS SageMaker, Jupyter Notebooks, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with AWS/Google Cloud platforms.
