As part of this mission, Chewy is seeking an Associate Director, CVC Facilities to help us build a connected, perfect customer experience for our Veterinary practices. This individual will be responsible for supervising the success of final setup of practice facilities prior to handoff to launch operations and ongoing maintenance support.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader that can work across multiple projects and sites in order to enable success. They have a passion for getting things right and attention to detail while building for scale.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead practice set operations including handoff from construction, final installation of equipment, and final handoff to launch operations
  • Establish mechanisms for issue intake, management, and closure, inclusive comprehensive reporting and important metric tracking
  • Handle intake and resolution for organisational change project management
  • Build cross-functional partnerships in order to support safe and secure practice operations and minimize impact to customers
  • Handle establishing and operating budget for facilities operating expenses
  • Build and maintain documentation for practice setup and maintenance standard operating procedures and clear handoffs to operating leaders
  • Support day to day maintenance and basic repairs to ensure all operating systems are in working order

 

What you’ll need:

    • BA/BS in finance, business, engineering, or similar field
    • 7+ years experience in facilities maintenance, office services, operations, or similar
    • Ability to prioritize duties and adapt to ambiguity for self and others
    • Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail and timely
    • Flexibility to work nontraditional hours across time-zones where needed
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical ability to learn new systems
    • Experience with project management and building management systems
    • Willingness to travel, up to 75%
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, push, carry, squat, and kneel
