As Associate Director, FSQ CI, you will have three primary responsibilities.  (1) You will be responsible for identifying and solving issues across one of our business lines (either mealkits or ready-to-eat) through continuous improvement methods as it relates to the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) of our product for the customer.  (2) Own the roadmap for projects to enhance our customer experience through FSQ excellence. (3)  Support the FSQ operations team in leading analysis and improvement toward meeting and exceeding metric targets.  

You will…

  • Serve as Associate Director of Continuous Improvement across multiple production facilities for either meal kit or ready-to-eat operations
  • Lead a team of CI professionals to identify, execute, and continuously improve opportunities within FSQ operations
  • Champion data analytics to improve the customer experience as it relates to FSQ
  • Drive KPI improvements through a structured approach such as The Pareto Principal, DMAIC, and other Lean/Six Sigma techniques
  • Identify and maintain a project list of viable opportunities to reduce consumer reported error rates 
  • Represent the FSQ team in cross functional meetings to advocate for your teams needs and processes, and drive business wide change
  • Use effective project management and communication techniques to ensure successful change management
  • Develop a set of work-in-process quality standards and measurements of success
  • Investigate root causes and corrective actions from customer complaint data
  • Own team engagement, development, coaching, and performance management for your team

You have…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain,  or related field
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification, preferred
  • SQF Practitioner certification, preferred
  • Preventive Controls Qualified Individual, preferred
