Associate Director WHS ANZ
Job Description
The Associate Director WHS ANZ provides expert support and advice throughout the organisation on Work Health, Safety, Injury Management and Workers Compensation. Ensuring a safe work environment for all team members and is responsible for delivering both local and global strategic initiatives. This role is responsible for leading a team of 3 WHS Coordinators across multiple sites in ANZ.
You will…
- Provide specialist WHS guidance to leaders and team members from across the organisation and HelloFresh Group brands
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety management programs and develop policies and procedures to ensure local WHS regulations are adhered to
- Support line management to ensure that relevant HF WHS policies, standards and guidelines are followed.
- Coordinate internal and external audits of WHS management systems and ensure that WHS compliance obligations and hazard management is undertaken accordingly.
- Oversee WHS incident investigation process to ensure root cause is identified and effective corrective / preventative actions have been put in place. Ensure all investigations meet internal and regulatory timeframes.
- Responsible for the development and communication of WHS reporting across the region
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with external providers and insurers
- Lead, grow, develop and mentor the WHS Team
You have/are…
- An educational background is OH&S / WHS as well as specific industry experience (FMCG or Blue Collar experience is highly regarded)
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience within a similar role with exposure to ANZ
- Developed influencing, relationship building and management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in engaging and influencing to build collaborative solutions
- Experience working in a high staff volume site(s) with a risk profile consisting mainly of manual handling and repetitive tasks in a manufacturing / warehousing environment
- Proficient in G-Suite Software
- Ability to drive a culture of health & safety, and compliance
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
