A core division of Red Ventures, Red Platform is looking for a talented, results-oriented, innovative Full-Stack Engineer to join our team, responsible for building an internal product for our editorial staff to utilize AI to generate, create, and manage quality content.

As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on features that directly affect content production for our businesses. You will be able to apply your programming skills toward building quality backend services and performant, intuitive user interfaces. We want you to embrace solid programming principles alongside new technologies to engineer modern solutions for demanding business needs.

What You Will Do:
  • Design, modify, develop, write, test, and implement software.
  • Responsible for server-side applications as well as frontend interfaces.
  • Take ownership over the work at hand and shepherd code to production. Review, measure, repeat.
  • Collaborate with product leaders, business stakeholders, and other developers to deliver a quality product.
  • Maintain curiosity and a desire to improve yourself and your colleagues through self-study and professional development.
What We're Looking For:
  • 1-3+ years of software development experience
  • Understanding of modern software development best practices
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Typescript fundamentals
  • Experience with Node.js (and backend frameworks such as Express or NestJS)
  • React experience or similar (VueJS, AngularJS, etc.)
  • Comfortable working with the command line, git and GitHub
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments
Even Better:
  • Experience with CSS frameworks such as SCSS and/or Tailwind.
  • Experience working with test frameworks such as Jest or Mocha + Chai
  • Experience working with AWS, Terraform, and other DevOps tools
  • Experience writing quality documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience developing and supporting production APIs
    • REST, GraphQL, and API services, HTTP Status Codes, Content Negotiation, API versioning, Caching
  • Security, Stability, Reliability, Scalability, Performance, Monitoring
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • A self-starter and strong communicator who excels at working on an distributed team

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $75,000-$90,000
