Associate Engineer (Golang) - Payments Tribe

We're looking for a software engineer with a couple years of backend experience, ideally working with Golang, who’s ready to level up and tackle real-world fintech challenges and comfortable working in a production environment, collaborating across teams, and eager to grow further.
What you’ll do:- Build and maintain event-driven backend services in a microservices architecture
- Work in a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and designers
- Write clean, testable, scalable code using Golang (Java is a plus!)
- Contribute to high-availability systems using Kafka, CockroachDB, PostgreSQL, AWS, and more
- Learn from and collaborate with senior engineers, participate in code reviews, and improve system architecture
- Help us balance pragmatic engineering with long-term product thinking
- Have 2–3 years of experience in backend development, ideally with Golang
- Are comfortable working with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and message queues (Kafka, SNS, etc.)
- Have exposure to DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines and observability tools
- Understand software design principles and system architecture
- Are curious, collaborative, and proactive in solving problems
- Care about clean code, well-documented systems, and continuous learning
