The Business Technology Team
This role joins the Business Technology organization and plays a critical part in realizing our vision to accelerate the delivery of business outcomes across Okta by driving clarity, collaboration, and accountability in everything we do. We enable the broader Business Technology organization in the mission to “Accelerate Okta’s Scale and Growth”. The Associate IT Support Engineer Opportunity
Our IT Support Engineers help ensure we provide world-class dynamic technology support for our employees and our spaces. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating our new employee onboarding, quickly resolving employee IT issues and developing a strong customer-first mindset. You will be part of a globally distributed onsite support team that provides IT support for our employees and maintains in-office technologies.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing in-person and remote support to our global employees (all worker types and employee levels). Requests will come in various forms, such as tickets, walkups, Slack, and email.
- Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition and seamless integration into the company culture and workflow.
- Oversee inventory and asset management, including receiving, assembling, and maintaining hardware, while ensuring accurate tracking and ongoing oversight of all assets as needed.
- Assist with projects as assigned.
- Video Conference Room system checks and preventative maintenance.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Familiarity in both MacOS (JAMF) and Windows (InTune) platforms.
- Strong communication skills and customer service attitude.
- Passion for helping people and a positive attitude.
And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!
- Knowledge of Okta, Google Workspace, ServiceNow and Slack.
- Skilled in providing support to executives and high-profile stakeholders.

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:$57,000—$85,000 CADWhat you can look forward to as an Full-Time Okta employee!
