Oversee maintenance related processes including maintenance of automation and manufacturing equipment, electrical, refrigeration, building, grounds, and overall upkeep of a buildingMotivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from withinManage outside vendors and facilitate planned and unplanned repairsEnsure that maintenance regulations are followedMaintain a current list of contractors to ensure that all emergency repairs are handledIdentify problems and brainstorm improvement ideas for the fulfillment center

0 to 2+ years’ experience managing facilities maintenance/operations and reliability within the Food/Beverage/Perishables/Distribution industryBachelor's Degree preferred; high school diploma or GED requiredInterest in spending most of your time on the shop floor and working directly with all levels of staffHigh level of integrity and ethics with excellent follow-throughAware of OSHA regulations and complianceAble to read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and schematicsExposure to mechanical, electrical, automation and refrigeration systemsComfortable working in cold environments with some areas of facility at 40FExcitement for working in a start-up environment with a high level of ambiguity and changeEffective communicator for employees, direct reports, cross-functional teams, and senior leadershipFlexibility to work weekends, holidays and/or nights
