Associate Manager, 3PL Operations

Location: Boulder, CO | New York, NY | Irving, TX

The Associate Manager will support operational development initiatives for HelloFresh’s 3PL and co-manufacturing network. Responsibilities include running daily operations and driving operational improvements at our 3PL partners to decrease cost and improve quality.  The Associate Manager is a self-motivated team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help take our 3PL program to the next level. You will be asked to travel up to 35% within the United States. 

You will…

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the new Factor 3PL, launching in Q1 2025, including coordinating with Factor kitchens and outbound LOC, managing substitutions and shorts when needed, reporting on and managing P&P and ingredient errors and mis-sorts, and being the voice of the 3PL within the greater Factor/HelloFresh organization
  • Support daily tactical work streams to manage order volume adjustments and ensure SOPs and annual OKRs are tracked and executed
  • Report to Associate Director, 3PL Operations to enhance customer experience and improve day-to-day operations
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly scorecard and process reviews with 3PL sites
  • Work a Friday-Monday, 10x4 schedule and lead operations across all 3PL brands and sites over the weekends, escalating to senior team members when needed. Cover of Factor transfers during the weekend
  • Partner with leadership on adjustments to production and facilitate cross-departmental communications
  • Work directly with 3PL partners to build processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Travel to 3PL facilities to strengthen the partnership and provide operational support at the shop-floor level
  • Oversee invoice receiving and approval process for Factor, categorize and report invoiced expenses, and resolve billing issues in collaboration with Accounts Payable

You have…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 3 years of experience supporting fulfillment and production operations in the e-commerce, food/beverage, manufacturing, or distribution required
  • Ability to travel up to 35% within the United States required
  • Experience in turning analysis into action using Microsoft Office/Google Suite required
  • Willing and available to work a Friday-Monday, 8 am-6 pm schedule
  • Previous experience background in operations and vendor management preferred
