Associate Sanitation Manager

 The Associate Sanitation manager will work to continually improve the sanitation process to ensure the processes is sound, in order to meet operational goals and objectives, along with quality, safety and GMP regulations. The Associate Sanitation Manager coordinates activities and provides coaching and guidance to workers in the sanitation team.  The Associate Sanitation Manager works alongside the team, stepping in as needed to ensure maximum productivity.  You will......

  • Continually improve the sanitation process for Hello fresh
  • Ensure compliance in all facets of SQF and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist Hello fresh location with any Sanitation needs.
  • Responsible for directing and supervising a group of employees involved in inspection and sanitation procedures. 
  • Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits of standard practices.   
  • Responsible for compilation and maintenance of inspection reports and records.
  • Maintain discipline, morale and harmonious relations among subordinates.
  • Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
  • Investigate and determine the cause of faulty work and consult and advise other departments as to corrective measures.
  • Provide all employees with the necessary tools, proper training and corrective direction
  • Understand and enforce requirements of SQF Quality Code and ensure that all staff is aware of their responsibilities / accountability as it relates to the SQF Quality Code

  • Performance management for assigned production lines, hiring, promotions, performance reviews
  • Communication Proficiency: speak to employees with tact and diplomacy. Time Management: tracking/monitoring production and maintaining productivity.  
  • Technical Capacity: Sanitation, food safety & quality, computer literacy
  • Learning Orientation: able to take direction and relay information to employees.Manager Responsibility

 You bring....... 

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience required
  • Preferred sanitation experience
  • Preferred minimum 3-5 years of experience in sanitation in a food manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4 year degree preferred or equivalent  work related experience  
  • Intermediate computer skills requirement – data analysis/creation, Microsoft office and google equivalent.
  • Preferred food safety certifications SQF, BRC, HACCP is a plus.
