Job Description

This role reports into our Boston office Monday-Thursday (remote flexibility on Friday).

As an Onboarding & Continuous Learning Associate you’ll develop, support, and implement global programming that aligns with Wayfair’s People Principles, including orientation, onboarding, and company-wide compliance training. You will be responsible for planning and executing on these existing programs, as well as identifying opportunities to improve and expand our offerings.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the delivery of Wayfair’s corporate orientation program, including but not limited to monitoring team inbox and Slack channels, updating orientation materials, and facilitating sessions to large groups of new hires.
  • Independently manage onboarding curriculum including facilitation logistics, participant tracking and feedback, communications, and marketing efforts, while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
  • Leverage and analyze data to evaluate the success of our onboarding and continuous learning programs/processes and optimize future iterations. 
  • Create and schedule training sessions in the learning management system (LMS) as well as build and run reports, troubleshoot end user issues, and identify and resolve technical issues
  • Support Wayfair as the subject matter expert on our LMS (Cornerstone) and partner with internal Cornerstone administrators as well as our Cornerstone partners externally
  • Manage the logistics for annual compliance trainings by working with key stakeholders and business leaders (e.g., Wayfair’s legal team) to update and deliver content to employees
  • Maintain and update key spreadsheets/reports to ensure accurate training completion data and periodically share findings with relevant stakeholders
  • Help maintain and update the learning infrastructure (LMS, intranet pages, etc.)
  • Perform other related duties as required or requested

What You’ll Need

  • A passion for providing a positive new hire experience at every stage of the onboarding process
  • Self-motivation and accountability to take initiative and deliver results on-time, in an ever-changing environment
  • An acute eye for detail and an excellent ability to multitask
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude to upskill quickly on new platforms and processes
  • Comfortable with public speaking and/or previous experience facilitating to large groups
  • Ability to analyze talent and program data in order to draw conclusions and make data-backed recommendations
  • Experience with Cornerstone preferred
  • Experience working with data in Excel and/or Google Sheets
