Wayfair Store Logistics Associate (Part-Time)

Location: Wilmette, IL

The pay of this position is $17.00/hr

Brief Overview of Position

Wayfair Logistics Associates are responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming product and materials, picking, staging and moving and arranging product from back of house to the salesfloor, and/or managing, organizing and retrieving product. 

Availability Requirements

3-5 days of the following:
  • Monday–Friday:6 AM – 10 AM and/or Wednesday & Friday: 3 PM – 12 AM

Essential Functions

  • The Logistics Associates will be responsible for unloading trucks and moving inventory within the Back of House operations.
  • Unload and Receive inbound furniture and other product which will require manually moving large, heavy goods
  • Use store technology to document pertinent product level information, including condition, quantity, and location of store product.
  • Monitor order management systems for all in store and online orders that will be processed in the Back of House operations
  • Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting up to 75lbs unassisted and moving product 150lbs+ unassisted or via a team or equipment lift 
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/back of house environment for the majority of the shift.
  • Comfortable with scanning technology

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (Required)

Experience Qualifications

  •  At least 6+ months of Retail Experience, with exposure working in back room operations. (Preferred)
  •  At least 6+ months of Experience in Distribution and Logistics is a plus.
