Wayfair is looking for an Associate on our Procurement Product team to drive the ongoing optimization of our cloud-based procure-to-pay system suite and subsequent spend processes. This role is pivotal to standardizing our firm-wide buying process, improving our downstream financial operations, tracking spend data, unlocking process efficiencies, and maximizing our team’s return on investment.

We are looking for adaptable doers who are great at engaging with stakeholders, questioning inefficiencies, using data to solve problems, and multi-tasking. This role will enable development across a myriad of skills, including product management, analytics, and project management -- positioning someone to transition into fields such as finance or product management.  

Wayfair’s Strategic Procurement team was established to focus on strategic sourcing and drive ongoing optimization of our procurement systems and processes. This role will support both parts of the team and work to centralize and standardize spend and contract management. 

What You'll Do
  • Become expert in our suite of tools (e.g., Coupa) and support internal processes (system management, audits, etc.)
  • Train internal system users on processes and tools; create and update end-user guidance to drive self-service
  • Manage offshore resources as team operations scale
  • Support the team’s change management efforts across system and process optimization, including our goal of expanding managed tool suite while maintaining interoperability
  • Monitor functional performance (KPIs) and devise/deploy strategies for ongoing program optimization
  • Create reporting suite to distribute to category sourcing team and cross-functional connections to highlight trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with category sourcing managers to design and oversee supplier and content enablement efforts
  • Review, prioritize, and action system enhancement requests from partner teams
  • Support system updates, configurations, and the ongoing relationship with our vendors
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in an analytical field, such as economics, business, math, statistics, or analytics 
  • Experience in a process-focused role is a plus. This could include procurement operations/sourcing, systems management, or consulting.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment where strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities are a must
  • A track record of collaboration and successful relationship management"
  • An ability to hit the ground running and learn quickly; a self-starter
  • An interest and aptitude for learning new tools and ticketing systems
  • An ability to understand data and create relevant data visualizations
  • Proficient in Google suite and/or excel
