The Product Operations Associate Project Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining the processes and data that are integral in providing our internal teams and affiliate network with the optimal experience. Accurate personal finance product data is essential to curating a compliant shopping experience. This position will ensure that the key data on our websites and within our products are updated accurately and in a timely fashion.

 

In addition to building and maintaining product data, the APM will work with multiple functional areas (Operations,Technology, Data, Compliance, Issuer Relations) to improve the processes that maintain sites and data within the Bankrate and The Points Guy networks.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform and coordinate the creation and maintenance of tracking elements via internal platforms and systems.
  • Update credit card data components across 1,000+ card profiles.
  • Communicate product changes and deadlines to our network of customers.
  • Work with internal and external data sources to ingest and format large amounts of data for various websites and applications.
  • Perform periodic quality reviews of databases with credit card and reward information.
  • Identify, build, and document requirements for improving existing processes and systems.
  • Periodically assist in auditing and reviewing published website editorial and feed-driven data. 

What We're Looking For:

  • Self-motivated, quick, and assertive with a strong attention to detail.
  • Tech savvy and able to navigate complex, interconnected data systems.
  • Works well with tight deadlines and is capable of balancing multiple competing priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset – working across various internal teams and with a range of personalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to understand and communicate complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent ability to problem solve and inspect complex data connections to diagnose internal and external errors within a tight deadline.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Jira, Asana, Newsletter systems, or database management are a bonus.

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $45,000-$55,000 *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
