Red Ventures is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join us. In this role, you will work closely with the Tax Manager to provide tax preparation services for high-net-worth individuals and other business returns. Your expertise in tax knowledge and compliance will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely tax filings. This person will report to the Tax Manager on our team.

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with manager to provide tax preparation services for high-net-worth individuals and other business returns
• Assist in the preparation of intermediate to complex pass-through returns
• Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to the partners tax positions
• Work with external investment partners to understand current and potential new investments and associated tax impact
• Work with Red Ventures' tax team and subject matter experts as needed
• Manage K-1’s, 1099’s, and other data collection necessary for tax preparation
• Support Red Ventures' tax team with the preparation of corporate, federal and state tax compliance and reporting

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 1+ years of experience in tax accounting 
• Prior experience with preparing individual and/or business income tax returns
• Team player with excellent organizational skills, polished communication, interpersonal skills, and willingness to multi-task
• Flexibility, sense of urgency, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive data
• Hands on experience with tax reporting software, Corptax or CCH preferred
• Individual must be based in, or willing to relocate to, Charlotte area

Compensation:

• Cash Compensation Range: $70,000-$85,000**Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience
