We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Specialist- Finance to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time engagement and you will be working on a Project related to Finance Process Optimization, aimed at transforming our finance department's efficiency through cutting-edge automation solutions.

You'll be a self-starter with a keen eye for opportunity, diving into our current financial processes to identify the most impactful automation projects. Your ability to assess the "state of play" and pinpoint initiatives with significant time-saving potential, strong ROI, and strategic leverage will be key. This role demands a proactive individual who can not only conceptualize solutions but also drive them to successful implementation by effectively collaborating with stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL DO …

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing finance department processes to identify pain points and opportunities for automation using RPA and GenAI.
  • Proactively identify and prioritize automation projects based on criteria such as time savings, return on investment (ROI), and strategic leverage.
  • Design comprehensive automation solutions, evaluating and recommending the most suitable tools and technologies (RPA, GenAI, and other automation platforms) for specific use cases.
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders at all levels to gather requirements, build consensus, and ensure successful project execution and adoption.
  • Lead automation initiatives from ideation through to successful implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented automation solutions, identifying areas for further optimization and improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, developing blueprints of standardized solutions and assisting in scaling these blueprints across the department, fostering a culture of automation within the organization.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR …

  • Demonstrated experience in process automation, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in a professional setting within a finance or similar operational department.
  • Broad expertise across a range of automation tools and platforms, with the ability to assess their suitability for diverse business needs.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to identifying and prioritizing opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A strong track record of driving projects from concept to completion, demonstrating a results-oriented mindset.
  • Highly motivated and autonomous, capable of working independently and taking initiative to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and technologies.
