What you’ll be spending your time on:

This role involves handling banking relations in Japan & HK. Scope includes payouts, collections, safeguarding and potential alternate safeguarding arrangements and any other area that may be added as per business requirement. Manage the relationship with banks working on commercial, operational, KYC and compliance matters.

Some of the tasks involve the following:

• Day-to-day operational matters with the banks
• Working with Compliance to address any KYC and Compliance obligations
• Participate in periodic reviews initiated by the bank and by Payoneer
• Pricing and interest rate discussions
• Any other tasks that may be assigned based on business needs

This role involves working closely with internal stakeholders from compliance, banking infrastructure, treasury, regulatory and customer operations teams.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

• Familiarity with the local payments schemes in Japan & Hong Kong
• Familiarity with cross-border payouts, collections, recalls, returns, RFIs and related processes
• Exposure to fraud/AML detection/prevention tools, discussions
• Must have handled contracts/agreements related to services, including experience negotiating commercials
• 5 years of experience in handling banking relationships
• Japanese speaking, reading & writing skills is mandatory

Not a must but a great advantage:

• Experience in Payments On behalf-of, Receivables On Behalf-of
• Experience in collections
• Experience in wallets
• Experience in regulations
