THE ROLE

Key responsibilities

The BAU Enterprise Architect is a vital role within Agilisys and this role will be responsible for understanding the future vision of our clients and translating this into a technology roadmap for implementation, ensuring technologies are procured once but utilised many times.

Specific duties

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following:

• Work with our IT Professional and Transformation Services teams to translate Business Technology and Products Strategy into solutions for our client.
• Review solution delivery with the Agilisys Design Authority and Project Management to ensure compliance with defined strategy and architecture and assess the impact of deviations.
• Responsible for the design and communication of high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.
• Support and encourage innovation through continuous review and appraisal of the developments in technology and assess how these will impact our solutions, business and architecture strategy.
• Assist with bids for new work and build business cases for new technology implementations.

The Ideal Candidate

• Significant experience in hands-on Enterprise Architecture delivery.
• Experience in leading and shaping architecture resources, capabilities and strategy.
• Experience and good understanding of managing complex client relationships.
• Solid experience and understanding of IT governance processes.
• Deep product knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure.
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery principles, patterns and usage.
• Understanding of cloud ecosystem and leading-edge cloud emerging technologies.
• Experience configuring and tuning virtual private clouds.
• Experience supporting Production applications or workloads in a cloud-based environment.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.
• Insight and automation experience.
