About the position

As a Business Development Manager you will lead a team of Business Development Representatives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment focused on delivery of high-quality, qualified opportunities for our sales team to generate revenue and provide value to prospects and customers. The role reports to the VP, Global Business Development.

 

Key responsibilities as a Business Development Manager at Showpad

  • Desire to build a team of top achievers and bias towards action, accountability and performance.
  • Work in sync with the marketing, sales, and BDR team
  • Mentor, motivate and develop employees to deliver on the organization’s qualified opportunity goals in-line with our sales plan
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual qualified sales opportunities targets
  • Provide on-boarding and continuous training for the BDRs to help them meet their career goals within realistic timeframes and expectations.
  • Contribute creative ideas and best-practices to help the organization’s goal to be best-in-class

 

Skills and Qualifications we are looking for

  • Dynamic, high-energy sales management professional with 2-5 years successful experience in sales development or account management team in an intense, fast paced, goal oriented environment
  • Experience with inbound sales development and lead conversion activities
  • Self-starter with results-driven personality; experienced with deliver monthly and/or quarterly quota results
  • Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities
  • Startup DNA is required

 

What we prefer

  • Experience with enterprise software or SaaS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
