Benefits & Mobility Lead
Location: London, office first
As a Benefits & Mobility Lead, you will partner closely with the People, Finance and Legal teams to manage our benefits and mobility functions. Together with the leadership team, you will define SumUp's global benefit portfolio (health and risk insurance, retirement plans, special leaves, fitness perks etc) by strategically reviewing our benefits and the overall experience provided to employees in a holistic manner to achieve our desired vision.
You will lead our Mobility team, aiming to achieve top notch experience in relocation, immigration and working from abroad processes, centered around best practices, adaptability and empathy.
What you’ll do
- Keep a close eye on benefits costs MoM and ensure best possible negotiations, tax advantage perks and flexibility to maximise value over investment
- Maintain our existing benefits competitiveness and have a clear view on competition’s portfolio strength and weaknesses by conducting regular market benchmarks
- Lead along with procurement team our vendor management calendar including contract renewals, vendor changes and new benefit expansions
- Improve employee-facing and candidate-facing benefits communications ensuring that it connects with the defined EVP
- Work closely with People Partners, People Ops, Legal, tech and Payroll teams to manage Benefit programs
- Lead the global mobility team responsible for all mobility processes such as visas for travel, immigration, and relocations and support the team members development.
You’ll be great for this role if
- Bachelors or Masters degree in human resources, law or related fields combined with work experience
- Fluent in English, knowledge of German is a plus
- Good knowledge of pension-schemes and insurance benefits practices in Europe and/or USA
- Good knowledge of Excel
- You are a self-starter and work proactively
- Structured & organised way of working
- You gathered first experience in people leadership and/or mentorship
