As the Responsible Gaming Analyst, you will be a key player in our commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for our users at betFIRST. Your dedication and attention to detail will be instrumental in upholding responsible gaming practices, fostering player well-being, and contributing to the overall success of our dynamic and innovative team.

This role reports to the Head of CS & RG.

Responsibilities

Monitoring Player Activity:

• Implement and oversee systems to monitor player behavior and identify potential signs of problematic gaming.
• Conduct regular reviews of player accounts to ensure compliance with responsible gaming policies.
• Distribute the daily workload for the Protection Agents together with the Head of RG and Customer Service Team Lead.

Risk Assessment:

• Analyze player data to assess risk levels and identify patterns of problematic behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as BI and Product to implement strategies to mitigate risks and promote responsible gaming.

Policy Development and Implementation:

• Assist in the development and enhancement of responsible gaming policies and procedures.
• Implement and communicate responsible gaming policies to ensure compliance among players and internal stakeholders.

Player Communication:

• Serve as a point of contact for players seeking information or assistance related to responsible gaming.
• Provide support and resources to players exhibiting signs of problematic behavior.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Generate monthly and quarterly reports on responsible gaming metrics and key performance indicators.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of player interactions and interventions for regulatory compliance.

Training and Education:

• Conduct internal training sessions to educate staff on responsible gaming practices.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop responsible gaming awareness campaigns for players.
• Provide regular coaching to our Customer Service & Protection Agents.

Requirements

• Natively fluent in both written and spoken French.
• Business proficiency in English is necessary and business proficiency in Dutch is an asset.
• Proven experience in Responsible Gaming, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Adherence to high ethical standards and a strong commitment to promoting Responsible Gaming Practices.
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with players seeing assistance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with relevant gaming regulations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools used in Responsible Gaming Monitoring.
• Dynamic and proactive who is passionate about staying abreast of industry trends and developments.
• Relevant experience and/or knowledge in the betting and gaming industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve common goals.
• Team player and not afraid to work on their own.
• Knows how to set priorities.
