BI Engineer II
Our Opportunity:
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II at our facility in Bellevue, Washington to own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key decisions and process improvements.
What You’ll Do:
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Order Routing Data Science team to contribute to the team’s mission of reducing costs and improving Chewy’s customers’ experience.
- Analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints.
- Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and various technological platforms.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation.
- Respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders.
- Improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field, and 3 years of experience.
- Will accept Master’s and 1 year of experience.
- Full term of experience must include: data management, manipulation, reporting, large data management, data science;
- Develop and own data injection, management, insight generation processes and tools for routing and shipment part of supply chain;
- ETL methodology;
- leveraging large data sets from multiple systems producing quality, scalable products;
- Automating, standardizing, and publishing key dashboards, using reporting/analytics tools (Tableau);
- SQL and various technological platforms.

Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary range for a Business Intelligence Engineer II position is $100,000.00 - $159,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
