What You Will Be Doing:
  • As our Billing Coordinator with focus on customer onboarding and customer portals, you will be the key player within the Elastic team helping the external customers and our internal teams to drive improvements and ensuring efficient and positive customer’s onboarding experience and customer portal support.
  • You will collaborate mainly with the Order Operations, Billing and Collections team as well as departments, such as Sales, Deal Desk, and Tax teams to optimize our processes and streamline things as Elastic grows. Furthermore:
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external inquiries by appreciatively balancing customer and organizational needs
  • Perform root cause analysis and quickly develop a course of action to tackle problems
  • Work on improvements and projects with a demeanor of continual growth
  • Review customer contracts to ensure data accuracy for billing
  • Upload invoices into customer portals
What You Bring Along:
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Billings that you'd like to build on and apply to a fast-paced, high-growth, global environment?
  • Do you enjoy interacting with customers and collaborating with other teams?
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Familiarity with customer portals such as Ariba and Coupa
  • Basic knowledge of sales tax, intra-community VAT and GST
  • Strong attention-to-detail, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment across multiple systems
  • World-class customer service skills with ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
