Role: Retail Performance Executive (FTC - 9 months)

Location: London, England, United Kingdom (1-2 days a month required on-site at the client office in Tadworth) 

About the role:

Working in partnership with the client, the Brand Manager (Retail Performance) will be accountable for delivering effective engagement and conversion of shoppers at the point of purchase (POP) through the execution of Brand Marketing plans as well as development of retailer specific co-marketing initiatives. You will be required to be comfortable working and presenting to customers and monitoring and sharing performance to deliver a clear understanding of how your plans drive growth ahead of the market. Your plans will require true collaboration with customers in order to unlock shopper barriers and prompt triggers to purchase, you will positively influence shopper consideration to help to find the right product and ultimately drive conversion. As a Brand Manager (Retail Performance), you will have experience of working with agencies /studios to develop artwork, as well as working with external agencies and stakeholder engagement, bringing , innovation, creativity and Project Management experience into your day to day role.

What you will be doing:
  • Scope of work budget management responsibility for our POS and artworking agency - Monitor costs for both POS projects and manage annual creative agency budget spend for all brands
  • Lead development of managing artwork for POS projects as required with external agencies - Meet all retailer and internal team deadlines to ensure timely and efficient shopper activation
  • Responsible for translating dedicated shopper creative - Developed by the consumer engagement team, you will be required to own and lead the translation into specific retailer media for your strategic customer and to create a shopper creative and POS toolkit available to use for all customers
  • Deliver best-in-class retail execution, across all brands and all touchpoints online & offline, which will be reflected by business results and Advantage Survey retail feedback for your strategic customer. Experience in retail media is desirable.
  • Budget Responsibility: accountable for planning with your customer, utilising a total £1.8 million retail media spend (across all brands)
  • Brand Performance: Deliver against set KPI targets, monitor and report results and provide opportunities to grow
  • Customer Partnership: Working closely with CBM/CAM and CDM and retailer to develop and execute shopper marketing plans, to achieve sales, ROI objectives
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
  • FMCG, high-street retail, sales, category and physical and online/ ecom experience is desirable.
  • Track record of delivering effective Brand Communications.
  • Relentless performance focus and drive.
  • Curiosity about shopper behaviours,and grocery retail.
  • Ability to tell the essential from non-essential, and focus efforts on what matters most.
  • Building effective relationships cross functions (with customers, commercial, category and marketing.
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role​
