Brand Experience - UX Architect
The UX Architect role is the most senior technical UX position in the Group, championing your expertise in the industry across most of its functions and verticals. This role sits in the central Player Experience department, and you lead the charge in harmonising user experiences across all company journeys. You guide product design teams in e.g. optimising and unifying navigation, registration processes, payment journeys, and cross-selling efforts. Your role is pivotal in realising the company's vision of delivering the best customer experiences in the industry.
A taster of what you will be involved with..- Delivering designs based on research, insight and strong personal experience in the industry and its best practices.
- Take a bird’s eye view of the customer journeys across Sportsbook, Gaming, Responsible Gaming, Customer account management, KYC, Payments, Engagement and take ownership of the journeys that connect them.
- Working with the Product Design Managers and Product Managers in all areas to deliver the best product experience as a whole.
- Give requirements to steer the company’s design system to enable strong, consistent UX journeys.
- Designing cross-area interfaces and user journeys and supporting innovation projects and proofs of concepts.
- Gathering requirements and ideas from user research, key stakeholders, and industry expertise.
- Understand and advocate the customer in product design.
- Ensuring production of high-quality designs and prototyping.
- Presenting complex flows and concepts to communicate journeys effectively to all stakeholders and facilitate communication across all areas.
Product Design Managers
- Understand their ways of working and help them unify standards of process across all areas for technical and design excellence.
- In projects that involve multiple areas, gather relevant Product Design leaders of each of the Product areas and work with them to come up with common solutions.
Head of Product Design
- Collaborate in establishing improved common UX design processes, better design handoffs to developers, and workflows with Product Owners and Managers.
- Report to the Head of Product Design on progress of work in active projects.
- Strategise Product improvements and innovative ideas.
Product Managers / Product Owners
- Understand their needs and their workflows and help them work better with designers and researchers.
- Help build quick prototypes / wireframes to help build business cases for new features / ideas
- Understand their roadmaps and help fill in any gaps in capacity to push high priority projects through
- A relevant academic degree or qualifications; preferably technology and / or business related.
- At least 4 years of experience working in a similar role.
- Prior experience in the gaming industry
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience working with agile and remote development teams.
- Comfortable and confident working with both the technical and commercial sides of an organisation.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into solvable and easily understandable parts.
- Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to logically measure risk against potential gain.
- A team player capable of building positive working relationships across the company.
- A keen eye for detail and a user centric mindset.
- Experience in a medium to large agile enterprise
