YOUR MISSION AT VOI

As Business Controller you are one of two people working across all markets to drive financial- and operational forecasting, following up on performance, delivering actionable insights and collaborating closely with the senior market managers to drive top-line and profit improvements. In this role you will be the link between the FP&S team and the senior market managers, and a key contributor in driving growth and profitability towards corporate- and investor goals. This will include: 

• Linking strategy to operational & financial targets: Use past performance, planned improvements and the overall strategy to set operational- and financial targets/budget in close collaboration with the General Managers and other senior stakeholders. In addition to driving the process you will build and manage the tools and company wide reports in Excel, Google Sheets and Snowflake.
• Analysing business performance: Analyse financial- and operational data, present insights, support decision making and launch initiatives with Voi’s Group- and Market management teams.
• Following up on performance: Prepare and drive recurring business review meetings to ensure accountability and advise senior managers on courses of action to reach set targets/budgets.
• Business case modelling: Support Voi’s management team in making strategic commitments by developing business cases and frameworks for expansions, investments and other strategic projects.
• Forecasting: Manage the monthly rolling forecast of top-line performance and costs in collaboration with the senior market managers.

WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK

We are looking for a highly analytical, structured and business-minded person, with the ability to drive processes with multiple stakeholders, and a curiosity in all aspects of driving P&L improvements. Apart from being fluent in English, responsible and goal-oriented, we believe the right person has: 

• A university degree within business, finance, engineering or similar.
• 2-5 years experience within business controlling, FP&A or similar.
• Experience of financial modelling, budgeting and P&L-forecasts.
• Proficiency in creating clear and concise presentations in powerpoint/google slides.
• Experience of working with SQL, Python or other programming languages is a merit.
