We are on a steep growth curve and are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization to analyze complex datasets, uncover actionable insights, and directly support strategic decision-making. This is not just about building data infrastructure—it’s about solving business problems, identifying growth opportunities, and driving impact through data.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights that inform business strategies and improve operations.
• Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from various databases.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for data analysis, automation, and visualization.
• Enhance and streamline Excel-based reporting systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Create intuitive dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover opportunities or address challenges.
• Contribute to data quality assurance by validating and reconciling data across sources.
• Work closely with the tech team to ensure the availability and accuracy of data required for analysis.
• Continuously monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and develop methods to track and evaluate their effectiveness.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven track record as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for querying and manipulating data.
  • Strong Python skills, with experience in libraries such as pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for interpreting data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques for data analysis.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
• Understanding of business processes and financial metrics.
